Student Life

As a family community built on excellence and the pursuit of virtue, True North recognizes that our mission is invested in the lives of its students. We are more a small “community” than a large “institution.” Each student brings his or her gifts into the class of a couple dozen students. Every individual young man or young lady contributes in a vital way to the ethos and composition of the class.

Our desire is to serve our students; our goal is to work for the success of each and every student. And this success is measured by much more than test scores and scholarships. It means we seek the cultivation of inner virtues that help form us into good human beings. We seek to cultivate the love for all things good, true, and beautiful. These personal traits are just as vital and will contribute to their future success just as much as successful academic accomplishments.

Extra-curricular programs remain integral to the educational experience at True North. We encourage students to build communities and bond with their peers outside of the classroom. As mentioned above, students also benefit from the development of habits and virtues that manifest through participating in one of the many extra-curricular programs offered at True North.
